Description

The Duveneck House is perfect for meetings, workshops, company retreats and small events that are looking for historic charm.  Rental Groups enjoy access to the main floor of the building.  The large Living Room, which overlooks a beautiful lawn and garden, has seating comfortable for 35-40 people. There is a small nook, a dining room, and 2 outdoor patios perfect for breakout groups. Hidden Villa staff offices are located in the building upstairs and downstairs.  

The rental space also includes:

Availability:

Renting the Duveneck House for a day provides reserved access to the space outlined above for your group from 8:30am-5:00pm.  Additional hours may be booked at an additional cost.

The Duveneck House is available for rent Tuesdays - Sundays, September through May.

Important Information:

We require an additional $500 refundable cleaning and damage deposit for every rental.  If the facility is left in satisfactory condition and all rental policies are followed during the event, we will refund the deposit after the event.

We require the renting party procures and maintains general liability insurance for the event and list Hidden Villa as additionally insured

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q) Do you provide food service?

A) No.  We do have a list of recommended caterers that we can share once bookings are made.  If your group is cooking for the event, you can pre-order Hidden Villa meat products to incorporate into your meal(s).

Q) Can we use the kitchen?

A) Yes.  The kitchen has a family refrigerator, an electric stove/oven, and a dishwasher.    It is stocked with a minimal amount of pots and pans, knives, mixing bowls and cutting boards.  There is a dishwasher.  This space is shared with staff who may store their lunch in the refrigerator and occasionally get coffee or tea.

Q) Do you provide a cleaning service?

A) No. We ask that groups leave the facility in the same condition in which they found it.  There are rags, cleaning solutions, soap, trash bags, and brooms available at each facility.

Q) Are there bedrooms available in the facility for overnight lodgers?

A) No.  All bedrooms in the home have been converted to offices.

Q) Is Alcohol allowed?

A) Yes.  Alcohol is allowed only at the rental facility.  It is not permitted anywhere else on the property.  

Q) Is there wifi?

A) Yes. 

Q) Is there cell service on the property?

A) There is very limited cell service on the property.  It is best to make all communications ahead of time or over wifi.

Q) Are dogs and pets allowed?

A) No. Dogs and pets are not allowed inside the facilities unless they are a certified service animal.
