Description
Late April is an especially fun time to pay special attention to birds. Most local species will be at their showiest, singing their hearts out, defending territories, constructing nests, or perhaps already tending to their nestlings. All this makes them easier to find - and to approach! We will review slides of some local species and investigate some nests from past seasons up close, before we step outside to respectfully observe some pre-scouted nest attempts in progress. Binoculars will be helpful, but not essential on our walk.
Good to Know
