Description
Anxiety about "things that might get you" can be a lifelong barrier to outdoors experiences. Misplaced fear can also distract from recognizing real dangers in your midst. With luck, this class will serve you well in all of your future explorations, and put many of your fears to rest.
We will conduct a thorough review of those few things (both biological and environmental) that actually do pose significant danger, and bust a few myths along the way. And we'll explore a ranking order for real vs. imagined dangers to help you plan for the safest possible outings going forward.
Who Is This For?
Motivated students of nature, of any age. Children 12 and younger need to be accompanied by a registered adult.
Price
All Classes in the Natural Science Saturday's are $30/person.
