Lucy Zhang (she/her)

Lucy grew up in a small town beside Yangtze in Central China. From there she moved to Wolfville, Nova Scotia and then Ottawa. In 2003, she and her family moved to the Bay Area and she discovered Hidden Villa in 2007. Lucy is proud to be a citizen of three countries (China, Canada and the US)! Lucy is the accountant and takes care of all the day to day finance needs. If you have ever seen any beautiful photos of Hidden Villa, there is a good chance, they are hers! She is a very talented photographer (and former journalist) and has published a book “Hidden Villa: A Poetic Embrace.” Always a nature lover, Lucy was taken with the sheer beauty of the farm and the forest. She has a passion for the organization’s mission and really enjoys introducing people to this hidden gem. Lucy is excited when Adobe Creek begins to flow, and also feels so fortunate to see the gifts of each lovely season at Hidden Villa. Her favorite mission-related book is Life on Two Levels by Josephine Duveneck – Lucy has read it twice!
