Garden and Horticulture Volunteer

Description

Volunteers work independently maintaining Hidden Villa's ornamental and educational garden spaces. Volunteers will have the opportunity to develop their experience with organic gardening, care of native plants, and garden design. Hands-on work includes planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching. This volunteer opportunity is great for anyone from a master gardener to aspiring gardener or horticulturalists.

Candidate Qualifications

Horticulture volunteers should love working outside, possess a general knowledge of horticulture, know how to safely use tools, and be comfortable working with minimal supervision. This opportunity is for volunteers who are a minimum of 18 years old.
