Maddie Christy (she/her)

Maddie is from Alexandria, VA. She got her start working at a small farmstead outside Santa Cruz and has since then worked on production farms in Vermont and Virginia growing vegetables and milking cows. For Maddie, Hidden Villa is a place that fosters connection.  “As farmers, we connect to the soil and plants we tend and in turn, they nurture us. To provide an opportunity for volunteers, students, and campers to experience the effort and joy of growing food is such a privilege.” She loves her bike commute through the ranch each day. Maddie’s favorite mission-related book is Nourishment by Fred Provenza.
