Description
Roots tend to go unnoticed and under-appreciated. They have a life of their own that may surprise you! For their part, shoots (or stems or ‘trunks’) facilitate a complex exchange of functions between above- and below-ground parts of plants. Join us to delve into those mysterious functions and processes, and watch some of them in action on the farm and in the forest.
Note: This class concludes a series-within-a-series seasonal review of all 6 essential components of plants: Roots, Stems, Leaves, Flowers, Fruits, and Seeds. The series may be taken in any sequence. The cycle will begin again in late summer when Fruits and Seeds are abundant once more!
