Heather Jensen (she/her)

Heather’s love for Hidden Villa started with her first field trip in second grade, which included a night hike and farm chores (mucking the barn and experiencing the size of a cow!). Heather started her career in education before moving to the accounting field 16 years ago. For the last seven years, she has been working with dozens of small business and non-profit clients on their financial close, deferred revenue recognition policies, grant tracking, payroll, sales tax and audit and tax support. She is motivated by Hidden Villa’s values of social justice, climate change impacts, healthy food systems (especially for those who don’t have access), and educating youth to action. She is excited to bring her experience in the accounting field and with other Bay Area nonprofits to this wonderful organization that has brought so much to her life. Heather and her family continue to enjoy hiking and visiting the farm as well as the fabulous produce and pastured eggs.
