Donors of $500 or more enjoy unique opportunities to experience Hidden Villa.
To support grant-making through a donor-advised fund, we wanted to provide some information regarding the value of the benefits in each of our Donor Circles. Please note that the information below is not tax or legal advice. Speak with your professional tax or legal advisor with questions about accepting benefits related to gifts made through your donor-advised fund.
Below, please find information about the Donor Circle benefits available to you as an advising donor recommending grants to Hidden Villa from your donor-advised fund.
Seed Sower – Donor Advised Fund Gifts $500-$999
For tax reasons, we are not able to offer the Hidden Villa Access Pass to donors giving through their advised fund at this level. It is our understanding that the remaining benefits offered at this level have an insubstantial actual cash value.

- Recognition on our Website – Your name proudly listed on our website and in our annual report as one of the generous donors who support Hidden Villa with a gift of $500 or more annually
Seed Sower – Donor Advised Fund Gifts $1000-$4,999
It is our understanding that, under Internal Revenue Service guidelines, the estimated value of the benefits offered is considered insubstantial.
Benefits:
- Insider Publications – A quarterly inside scoop delivered by email especially for our donor circle members
- Recognition on our Website – Your name proudly listed on our website and in our annual report as one of the generous donors who support Hidden Villa with a gift of $500 or more annually
- Hidden Villa Access Pass – Free and unlimited access to Hidden Villa during open hours Sept-May for one year from the date of issue ($20 value)
Community Builder – Donor Advised Fund Gifts $5,000-$24,999
It is our understanding that, under Internal Revenue Service guidelines, the estimated value of the benefits offered is considered insubstantial.

- Special Farm Fresh Gifts ($50 Value) – Unique, seasonal gifts grown or handcrafted from the farm, offered in early winter

Magic Maker – Donor Advised Fund Gifts $25,000+
We may only offer you, as the donor advisor of a donor-advised fund, benefits that are considered insubstantial under Internal Revenue Service guidelines. If you choose to claim your Custom Hidden Villa Experience, please work with our Development Staff to design an experience that will constitute a benefit with an insubstantial cash equivalent value. It is our understanding that, under Internal Revenue Service guidelines, the estimated value of all other benefits offered at this level is considered insubstantial.
