Community Programs offers a wide variety of classes, programs and events
for families and adults.
Take a farm tour, learn to make cheese or milk a goat, join us for a
speaker on social justice or a community celebration like Sheep Shearing
day.
Or just come on your own to enjoy Hidden Villa’s farm and
wilderness any day we are open.
Hidden Villa welcomes you!
Programs and events for all ages, celebrating the wonder
of nature and the richness of cultural diversity.
To register and pay online, using either your PayPal
account or a credit card, for one of the events below, click on the
button for the event you wish to attend. If the
button appears, you may click on it to be added to the waiting list for
that event and you will be contacted in the event of a cancellation.
For your convenience, you may also request
a reservation by mail. Complete and print the
reservation form and mail with payment to: Hidden Villa Community
Programs, 26870 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022. Please note your
reservation is not complete until confirmation has been received.

Unless otherwise noted in program description,
child rates apply to ages 2-12 and children UNDER 2 are free. Senior rate
applies to ages 60 and up. Must present valid student identification to
receive student discount.
Rates stated as "per person" apply to both adults and children.
Advance reservations are required in most

Cancellation policy:
50% refund if requested eight days or more before the event. No refunds
7 days or less prior to the event. Deposits for private weekend farm tours
are non-refundable.
Annual Passes
An annual pass lets you visit us anytime we are open without having to pay
the $5 daily fee.
You can purchase a windshield sticker for your car right here online, good for a full year from date of issuance.

Breaking Bread Sunday, February 14, 2:00 to 5:00 pm Ages 8 and up. Come learn about the history and making of breads from around the world. Discover the traditions and cultures behind different breads. Finish with some tasty samples and your own bread to take home! Location: Duveneck House

Wade Leschyn of the Mycological Society of San Francisco discusses both edible and poisonous varieties. Hikes are leisurely. No collecting please, cameras are encouraged. A Year of Trees -- Monthly Hikes at Hidden Villa Tuesday, February 23, 9:00 to 10:30 am Come hike Hidden Villa with Mary Powell, Manager of Community Programs, and explore the trees in our evergreen coastal woodland. Understand their beauty and marvel at their magnificence as we walk this moderately strenuous 90 minute educational hike. All levels of tree lovers welcome. REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED. $5 per car. How Does Your Garden Grow? Friday, March 12, 3:00 to 4:00 pm THIS CLASS IS A SIX PART SERIES. For ages 3 to 5 and parent or caregiver. Come dig in the dirt with your child and learn about planting and caring for carrots, lettuces, and other edible plants. We\'ll explore the mystery of seeds and how they grow through songs, stories, and hands-on projects. Series ends with harvesting and an opportunity to explore the connection between seed and table. Location: Wolken Education Center and Garden

Sustainable Building Tour Sunday, March 14, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm Age 10 and up. Tour our sustainable buildings, featuring solar electric generation, rammed earth and straw bale construction, recycled materials and more. Includes resource information. $10.00 per Person

Sheep Shearing Day Sunday, March 21, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Join us for Sheep Shearing Day at Hidden Villa!! Come see our sheep get their annual hair cut! Cheer hardworking herding dogs as they round up sheep. Get your hands into all kinds of cool wool activities. Make a colorful felt pouch, create some crazy yarn critters, and try out finger knitting.
We provide the picnic table, you provide the picnic. Blankets and folding chairs encouraged.

Cesar Chavez Celebration Sunday, March 28, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm For all ages.
Come visit our animal pens and childrens organic garden. Bi-lingual guides will be on hand to let you meet our cows, chickens, pigs, and sheep and take you into our garden to taste fruits and vegetables picked right from the earth.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the day at Hidden Villa. Sorry, no BBQing permitted.

Mothers Day Celebration with Nancy Cassidy Sunday, May 9, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm All ages welcome. Well-known for her CHILDREN\'S ENTERTAINMENT, this will be a chance to treat Mom and the whole family to a special concert featuring a Hidden Villa favorite, Nancy Cassidy, as she performs her original music. You\'ll be delighted by her memorable songs, beautiful voice, and rhythmic acoustic guitar. Bring a blanket and picnic snack. Register in advance and save!
