Community Programs - Calendar of Events
Community Programs offers a wide variety of classes, programs and events
for families and adults.
Take a farm tour, learn to make cheese or milk a goat, join us for a
speaker on social justice or a community celebration like Sheep Shearing
day.
Or just come on your own to enjoy Hidden Villa’s farm and
wilderness any day we are open.
Hidden Villa welcomes you!
Programs and events for all ages, celebrating the wonder
of nature and the richness of cultural diversity.
To register for one of the events below, click on the
button for the event you wish to attend. If the
button appears, you may click on it to be added to the waiting list for
that event and you will be contacted in the event of a cancellation.
For your convenience, you may also request
a reservation by mail. Complete and print the
reservation form and mail with payment to: Hidden Villa Community
Programs, 26870 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022. Please note your
reservation is not complete until confirmation has been received.
Unless otherwise noted in program description,
child rates apply to ages 2-12 and children UNDER 2 are free. Senior rate
applies to ages 60 and up. Must present valid student identification to
receive student discount.
Rates stated as "per person" apply to both adults and children.
Advance reservations are required in most
cases due to limited program size. For up-to-date program information,

Cancellation policy:
50% refund if requested eight days or more before the event. No refunds
7 days or less prior to the event. Deposits for private weekend farm tours
are non-refundable.
Annual Passes
An annual pass lets you visit us anytime we are open without having to pay
the $5 daily fee.
You can purchase a windshield sticker for your car right here online, good for a full year from date of issuance.
Ongoing Programs
Weekend Farm Tours
Most weekends: 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m., rain or shine
$7 per person.
Taste a root, come face to snout with a pig, and discover the connections
between sweaters and sheep on a guided tour of Hidden Villa's farm and educational
garden. Public and group tours available. Tours held rain or shine and last
approximately an hour and a half.
Reservations are HIGHLY recommended and require advance payment.
Contact Community programs for tour dates and availability. Online reservations
not available for weekend farm tours.
Birthday Parties for Kids
Saturdays and Sundays
Celebrate with a private farm tour (30 people max.), reserved picnic tables
under the party tent and birthday invitations with a farm theme! Additional
options available.
Parties for up to 15 children and adults: $180
Parties for up to 30 children and adults: $330
Children under 2, no charge.
Cancellation policy: Cancellation 30 days prior to the event, full refund. Up to 8 days prior, 50% refund. After 8 days, no refund.

Morning Farm Tour Sunday, July 5, 11:00 am to 12:30 am All ages. Come take a guided tour of our animal pens and educational organic garden. $7 per person. Under 2 years old, free of charge.

Garden Salad and Cheese Please! Saturday, July 18, 10:00 am to Noon Ages 5 and up. Learn how to make mozzarella cheese. Search our organic garden for edible greens, then finish with your own pita pizza and freshly picked salad for a healthy lunch to eat!

From Feathers to Feast Saturday, July 18, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Adult Program. See first hand how we raise chickens on our working organic farm. In this hands on class, you will participate in butchering your own chicken and preparing it to be eaten. This workshop will offer poultry eaters a deeper connection to the food you consume. You will go home with your own fresh organic, locally raised chicken for a feast truly of your own making! Location: Meet at the Main Parking lot kiosk $60.00 per Adult

Afternoon Wine and Cheese Sunday, July 19, 4:00 p.m to 5:30 p.m Adult Program, 21 and over.
Join us for an afternoon making fresh mozzarella and chevre. Flavor your cheeses with herbs and fruits you gather from our garden. Then enjoy pairing your creations with wine you bring to share. Location: Dana Center Deck overlooking our fields $25.00 per Adult $20.00 per Senior $20.00 per Student

A Year of Trees -- Monthly Hikes at Hidden Villa SOLD OUT! Saturday, July 25, 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Come hike Hidden Villa with Mary Powell, Manager of Community Programs, and explore the trees in our evergreen coastal woodland. Understand their beauty and marvel at their magnificence as we walk this moderately strenuous 90 minute educational hike. All levels of tree lovers welcome. REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED. FREE.

2009 HIDDEN VILLA FREE SUMMER CONCERT SOLD OUT! Sunday, July 26, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM THE JOE SHARINO BAND
SUN, July 26. 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. All ages. FREE. Advance Registration Required. Limit of 1 parking pass and 5 tickets per household. Shuttle buses from Foothill College parking lot begin at 4:30 p.m.
Come enjoy the big concert of the summer – the Joe Sharino Band at Hidden Villa! Back by popular demand, this bay area favorite is the winner of over 15 Best Band awards in northern California including the San Jose Mercury News, and KGO of San Francisco. The Joe Sharino Band is guaranteed to get you singing and dancing to its high energy Rock n’ Roll. Farm fresh Hidden Villa dinner and snacks will be available for purchase. This concert is generously underwritten by the Town of Los Altos Hills and the Kalish Team at Intero Real Estate.
Special note about tickets and parking: All attendees must present a ticket
to be admitted. Maximum of five tickets and one parking pass per household.
Only cars with a parking pass will be permitted to park for the concert. A
maximum of 100 cars will be permitted to park at Hidden Villa. After 4:15
all cars will park at Foothill College Lot #7 and a shuttle will transport
you to and from the concert. By order of the Sheriff, no parking is

Manure to Meadow to MMMMmmm! Saturday, August 8, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm For ages 6 and up. Join your son or daughter in making homemade organic ice cream flavored with fresh fruits and herbs from Hidden Villa's garden. Meet our dairy cows, Cleo and her daughter Maisie! And learn how they convert the work of worms into the main ingredient for a favorite treat! Location: Wolken Education Center $40.00 for first Adult & Child, $20.00 for each add'l Adult or Child

Stargazing Party with the Peninsula Astronomical Society Saturday, August 29, 8:00pm to 12:00am Enjoy a summer night under the stars with the Peninsula Astronomical Society! Join us for a special indoor presentation for children and adults beginning at 8:00pm (optional). Then around 9:00pm, head outside to view the sky through massive telescopes. Observe numerous constellations, star clusters, galaxies and more. FREE refreshments will be available. Bring a flashlight and blanket/chair!
